Fall 2025 Newsletter: Progress, Partnership, and Purpose

As we step into the final stretch of 2025, Columbia Community Mental Health (CCMH) is proud to share our Fall Quarterly Newsletter—a look at the important work happening across our agency, and the people and partnerships making it possible. We invite you to take a few minutes to explore the updates, highlights, and upcoming opportunities included in this issue.

🏗️ Creekside Construction Update: Four New Facilities Underway

If you’ve driven past our Creekside location lately, you’ve likely noticed major construction in progress. Thanks to generous grant funding from the Oregon Health Authority, CCMH is building a brand-new, multi-purpose facility that will include:
  • A new substance use treatment program to replace the current Pathways location
  • A 10-bed detox unit
  • An 8-bed crisis stabilization unit (5 adult beds, 3 youth beds)
  • A 16-bed transitional supportive housing facility (coming to 4th Street after renovations)
These additions will expand access to care for individuals experiencing addiction, mental health crises, and transitional housing needs—supporting long-term recovery and community reintegration.

📣 Strategic Plan 2025–2030: Built with Community, For Community

In Tháng 9, our Board of Directors officially adopted a new five-year Strategic Plan to guide our work through 2030. This plan was shaped through deep listening and broad participation, including:
  • Over 150 staff survey responses
  • Community and partner feedback
  • Leadership retreats and planning sessions
The plan centers around four key priorities:
  • Quality Care & Services – Delivering exceptional support to those we serve
  • Strong Organization – Building sustainable systems and structures
  • Employee Well-Being – Supporting the people who make it all happen
  • Community Engagement – Deepening partnerships and connection
We’re excited to begin this next chapter—together.

🏥 CPCC Spotlighted at Rural Health Conference

Earlier this month, our Creekside Primary Care Clinic (CPCC) was honored to present at the 42nd Annual Oregon Rural Health Conference in Bend. In partnership with OHSU Family Medicine, our team highlighted how “reverse integration” helps bridge the gap between behavioral health and primary care—leading to better outcomes for individuals living with serious mental illness.

🌲 Through the Trees: CCMH’s First Gala Brings Community Together

On Tháng Mười 25, CCMH hosted our first-ever fundraising gala, Through the Trees: Unmask the Roadblocks. The event brought together clients, staff, partners, and supporters for an evening of connection, storytelling, and celebration. With themed décor, a delicious meal by St. Helens High School Catering, entertainment, and an incredible sense of purpose, this event reminded us all of what’s possible when we come together. Special thanks to our sponsors: Cornice Construction, NAMI Columbia County, Shaver Transportation
