CCMH Client Rights and Responsibilities Policy
What Are My Responsibilities as a Client?
To help make treatment successful, clients are expected to:
- Participate in their treatment.
- Attend scheduled appointments.
- Treat staff and other clients with respect.
- Follow CCMH safety and facility guidelines.
- Respect the privacy of others, especially during group services.
How Are Appointments Scheduled?
Individual appointments are typically scheduled up to four weeks in advance.
Group services and medication appointments may be scheduled farther into the future.
If you have questions about scheduling, please contact your provider or program staff.
What Is a No-Show?
A no-show happens when:
- You arrive more than 15 minutes late for an appointment, or
- You cancel with less than 24 hours notice.
If you need to cancel an appointment, please let us know as soon as possible.
Why Does CCMH Contact Me About Missed Appointments?
CCMH may contact you if you miss appointments. We do this to help you stay connected to services and to make sure appointment times are available for everyone who needs them.
What Happens If I Miss Multiple Appointments?
CCMH follows a step-by-step process when appointments are repeatedly missed. This may include reminders, letters, meetings with supervisors, and additional support to help you stay connected to treatment.
What If I Have a Complaint?
If you have concerns about your treatment or services, you have the right to file a complaint. Filing a complaint will not affect your ability to receive services.
Compliance Hotline: (503) 438-2242
Please speak with your provider or program staff if you would like assistance with the complaint process.
