The Columbia Help Center is a Peer-run group representing adults currently or previously receiving mental health services in Columbia County. We aim to support our peers and reduce the stigma attached to a mental health diagnosis by advocating for our peers, educating people in the community and offering peer-run services. Many of us are trained peer specialists and actively participate in Peer to Peer training initiatives.

- Our Future
The Jordan Center is a drop-in center where people can ‘hang out’, do laundry, watch movies, meet with a peer counselor, have a low-cost meal. We also look forward to increasing our presence in care provision including respite services and peer counseling along side CCMH We are also obtaining our Non-Profit standing so we can raise the funds necessary to accomplish these and other goals.
David Romprey Oregon Warmline
The Warmline is a place where people can call to have a peer listen non judgmentally to whatever they have to say. They can call to have a conversation and learn and grow together with the operator. The purpose is for each person to learn from the other and to discover together a new way of being. We take all calls – from those who just need to talk to those who have overwhelming feelings.
