About Our Community
St. Helens is located in Southeastern Columbia County, on the Columbia River, approximately 20 miles Northwest of Portland, Oregon. Near the riverfront, the Olde Towne portion of St. Helens features a Nationally Registered Historic District encompassing 10 blocks, which includes residences and civic buildings dating back nearly a century. Situated on the confluence of four rivers, the town of St. Helens offers nirvana for fishermen, paddlers and anyone else with a yen for the outdoors. Hike, bike or horseback-ride on Sauvie Island; explore sites recorded in Lewis and Clark’s journals; and relax in the charming shops, cafés and galleries of Olde Towne.
CCMH offers a Kaiser medical and vision option, as well as a dental program. Coverage is included for the employee and immediate family (spouse or domestic partner and eligible dependent children). CCMH pays a large portion of the health care premiums, with employees paying a small share.
