Employee Benefits

Columbia Community Mental Health (CCMH) provides a generous comprehensive benefits program to employees, and family members, including qualified domestic partners under health benefits programs.

Health Care (Medical, Vision and Dental)

Kaiser medical/vision option is available as well as a dental program. Coverage is included for the employee and immediate family, i.e. spouse or domestic partner and eligible dependent children. CCMH pays a large portion of the health care premiums, with employees paying a small share. Eligibility begins on the first of the month following employment. Employment status of 24 hours a week is required for health care benefits.

Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (A/D & D) Insurance

CCMH provides life and A/D & D insurance at no cost to benefit eligible employees under a term life insurance policy. Employees may also purchase additional life insurance for themselves and eligible dependents.

Disability Program

A Voluntary Long-Term Disabilityand Short Term Disability program is available for benefit eligible employees. Cost is calculated according to salary and age of employee.

Deferred Compensation (Retirement)

Retirement savings program 403(b) is available to employees; with a matching fund to eligible employees. Employees make contributions to the plan through pre-tax payroll deductions.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

CCMH has contracted with Providence Employee Assistance (EAP) to provide confidential assistance to employees who are coping with family, financial or other problems.

Direct Deposit

Employees have the option available to have their paychecks deposited directly into their bank or credit union accounts.

Paid Time off (Vacation, Holidays, Sick Time, Bereavement)

Paid time off (PTO) accrual is available to eligible employees according to status and length of service with our agency; as well as sick leave accrual; to provide opportunities for rest, relaxation, personal pursuits and may also be used in the event of illness or injury, or for any other personal reason.

In addition to paid time off, eligible employees receive:

  • Nine Paid Holidays Each Year
  • Three Days of Paid Bereavement Leave
  • Flexible Spending Accounts

Employees may elect to participate in the Flexible benefit Medical or Dependent Care Spending Account options. Employee contributions are made with pre-tax payroll deductions. Plans operate under Section 125 of the Internal Revenue Code.
